Our Story

Welcome to Sips of Sunshine — a small, passionate coffee and lifestyle brand rooted in Venice, Florida, and connected to coffee farmers around the world. We started this journey because we believe a great cup of coffee is more than a morning ritual. It's a story — of a farmer tending hillside plants in Ethiopia, of volcanic soil in Guatemala, of generations of craft in Colombia. We want to bring that story to your cup.

We started Sips of Sunshine to share our coffee experiences and journey, coffee is more then just a social standard handed through a window. Coffee has provided our family the best way to come together, share stories of the adventures we have been on as well as the experiences we shared. Each cup takes us back to those places and times that live in hearts.

Single-Origin Coffee, Sourced with Intention

Every coffee we carry is single-origin — meaning it comes from one specific farm, cooperative, or region, not a blended mix. We source from smallholder farmers across Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Tanzania, Peru, Papua New Guinea, Nicaragua, Mexico, Guatemala, Kenya, and beyond.

Why does this matter? Because single-origin coffee lets the unique character of a place shine through — the altitude, the soil, the processing method, the hands that harvested it. When you read about a grower by name, the region they farm, and the way their beans were processed, you're not just buying coffee. You're building a relationship with the people who grew it.

We're committed to working with farmers who share our values: quality, transparency, and care for the land. 

Sustainability at Our Core

We take sustainability seriously — not as a marketing checkbox, but as a genuine commitment to doing better.

Our print-on-demand apparel — tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, hats, and mugs — is made only when you order it. No overproduction. No excess inventory sitting in a warehouse. No waste. This model means every item is created with purpose, and nothing ends up in a landfill because we over-guessed demand.

The materials we use reflect that same care:

• Organic combed ring-spun cotton, certified to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCS (Organic Content Standard) — so you know the cotton was grown without harmful pesticides and processed responsibly.
• Recycled polyester in select styles, giving new life to materials that would otherwise go to waste.

We believe the clothes you wear and the coffee you drink should both feel good — for you and for the planet.

At the end of the day, Sips of Sunshine is about connection. Connection to the farmers who grow extraordinary coffee. Connection to the land and the communities that sustain it. And connection to you — the person who starts their morning with intention, who cares about where things come from, and who believes that small choices add up to something meaningful.
